There are low down punk faced suckas out there sending spam text messages by the hundreds that are raising the phone bills of hard working, honest people, like myself thru the roof. That part is bad enough, but when I report this to good ole ATT they really don't care. They'll block the sender of the text, but they won't remove the charges from the bill. Getting stuck with a mega fat phone bill that caused by some regenage junk text company is sickening.
ATT has technology advanced enough to detect real texts that their customers use and the ones that are junk, but they let it go, hitting up their customer's bill 50 cent a pop. My wireless plan is bundled with my home, long distance, and internet services. I have two cell phones: my plan $110 a month. The newer cell is the one I use for the majority of my business. The older one is used for my few personal calls. Most days I leave the old cell at home, turned off and on the charger. I barely use that phone. Now let me explain this texting fiasco. In my case I might send & receive about 10 text messages a month because I really don't care for text messaging, but I do it when I need to. I do it on my new phone the one I use for business.
Why wouldn't ATT find it strange that I go from 10 to 500 texts in a month? Get this, all of the bogus texts were on the phone that I was barely using. I turn on that phone and try to quicking turn it off because it will be exploding with a gang of in coming text messages that I didn't waste a second of my time reading, I erased them as soon as they would appear. When I'd delete a ton of them its that 2 tons more of those bill gouging parasites would overload my inbox. In three months my bill went from $225 a month all the way to $1100 dollars. I'm looking at my bill online trying to see what is it that I'm doing that's causinng this bill to be so damn high?! I would sometimes view the internet on my cell, so I intitally thought that this was thing running up my bill. I wasn't downloading anything, just looking at scores & pictures. I didn't get any ringtones, songs, or games. I decided to surf the net only with my trusty computer. Thought my bill should drop to normal, but it kept going up and up! Got online and brought up my bill, started searching it for answers to the reason why ATT is trying to knock my top off with these crazy bills. I called those fools and after about 5 minutes of playing around with the robotic voice lady I final got to speak with a real person. Explained to her what was going and she discovered that I was signed up for some services that was texting me offers to be stuff I never wanted nor did I need any of the junk they were sending to my phone. I took her the truth about the whole situation and that was I didn't sign up for that service. She blocked and removed my number from thpse vultures clutches. I was thankful for that, but I wanted them to credit my account for those charges that were result of that phony service. She was understanding giving me compasion as much as she could without giving me a credit. I wasn't asking for a refund check, which I deserve, but just a credit or bill adjustment. Maybe not charge me for wireless for two months and I we would be square. ATT is a mutibillion dollar company they can afford to hook me up for two months, while I allow my checking account to recover from paying those juiced up bills! They were not going for that. They felt I should have caused them sooner, so as far they were concerned to charges were legitimately owed by me. If I would do that to someone I'll be put under the jail for highway robbery. A big fat cat company like ATT do it and they're just collecting their money. If that's not legal stealing, then I don't know what it is. Another party purposely ran up my phone bill by bombarding my phone and I had to pay for the charges. ATT should have went after the spam text service and strong armed them into paying, but its easier to charge me because I need ATT services. I should search for other spam text victims and we should put in a class action lawsuit against those clowns!
