Group Interviews: Jaw Jackers

I was part of a group interview and I always get a kick out of that one man/woman who tries to hog all the spotlight by being first to volunteer, to answer questions, ask questions, and going on and on about how they love the company so much. In my mind and in some of the other canidates too, we just want to backhand that clown and make them shut up, so someone else can at least get one word in!

Even the interviewers got tired of old yaketty yak's constant yapping. When jabber jaws hand went up, they would ignore it and call on another person. Guess it was too much for them. Talking is important business, but to really understanding a person needs to listen. Person who is always talking is not interesting in listening because he/she is focused on getting their point across, so their over talking, interrupting, and being a big loud mouth know it all. Listening is a big part of communication, but when a person is jaw jacking all the time it's impossible for them to listen and they sure can't communicate effectively. Unless of course, they're just talking to themselves!
