It took about a six weeks for the media to start ripping into the new President. All that historical stuff that they were trying to force feed down our throats might mean something for people mill over in textbooks, but there a serious economic crisis going on.
The whole novelty of having a partially Black President is wearing thin because people are going through rough times and they're looking for quick solutions. People don't have patience and they see Obama as a magical Negro who needs to chant some ancient African Voodoo spell and instantly everything is better.
Nothing like that is about to happen. Most likely these bad economic times will carry on for the majority of Obama's term. I already figured that this was a one and done. This will be the time they let a Black man be the Chief Executive and the Brotha couldn't get it done.
Now they can let a White guy do it and things can return to normal. White guys can be President without all the ultra-micro analyzing of everything he does. Obama, I feel bad for him because he's in a jacked up situation. People were real jacked up on him winning the election, but they failed to realize that Obama is President at the worst possible time.
